Here is my narrative short film called Chef Epice. Based off of my storyboard animatic I made two years ago, I wanted to fully flesh out my envision of the crazy tale of a hot mess of a chef.
Here I present my skills in appealing storyboarding, fun gags and comedic timing. I enjoyed this project very much as well as coming up with ideas for the humor.
This below is the Animatic. This was technically for a different class I took so it does not match up perfectly but has the same gags, storyline and execution as the final animation.
I am a pencil and paper person so all of my ideas and stories start here.
I simplified the story and made it digital along with notes of what's happening in the scene and rough estimate of timing.
Here are my turn arounds as well as color boards for what I want the characters to look like.
